Oprah’s 21 day detox program
· Oprah is trying a 21-day cleanse as a way to jump-start an inner makeover.
· She is giving up caffeine, sugar, alcohol, gluten and animal products from her diet.
· Here's how she says her first day went: "So this first day wasn't hard at all. For breakfast, I had steel-cut oatmeal with fresh blueberries, strawberries, chopped walnuts and a splash of soy milk and some agave nectar. For lunch, chunky mushroom soup with wild rice and pecans. As a snack, a handful of roasted almonds. And for dinner, a baked potato drizzled with olive oil, salt and pepper with a salad of shredded lettuce, cranberries, pine nuts and tiny orange slices with a vinegar and oil dressing."

Charlie Sheen’s friends say Denise is a big fat liar!
· Denise is making it seem like she needs cash, but that is not true!
· After her split from Sheen, she received $60,000 a month, tax free, for two years in alimony.
· Almost $1.5 million in two years!!! For doing nothing!
· She also receives $52,000 a month, also tax-free, in child-support for her two kids with Sheen, Lola and Sam.
· Richards makes well over $600k a year just on child support.
· It's also reported that she also gets a piece of Sheen's show, Two and a Half Men, which eventually will give her up to $25 million!
· A rep for Sheen said on his behalf, "The mere fact that she continues to publicly discuss and harass both Brooke and me three years after our separation, which for the record is longer than the actual length of the marriage, is beyond desperate and speaks volumes."
Robert Redford is engaged
· The 71-year-old actor is set to marry his German artist girlfriend, Sibylle Szaggars, who is 19 years his junior.
· The couple have been together since 1996.
· This will be Redford's second marriage.

Jessica’s heart really belongs to her dad
· "It's always been daddy," says a source close to the eldest Simpson girl. "That was the problem in her first marriage, putting Nick second. And it's been a problem for Tony."
· Following the weekend nuptials, Jessica headed to Cabo San Lucas with her father, Joe Simpson, and mom, Tina. And while Tony was invited to go, he opted to skip it.
· Not only that, the two haven't spoken since the wedding, according to a Tony pal.
· "I almost think it's not so much that he's tired of Jessica's attention," said the source. "He's tired of Joe. He's always giving Tony career advice. Even advice on how to date his daughter, like where to take Jessica out. Tony hates it."
· Like a good daddy's girl, Jessica defends her father's motives—which really irritates Tony.
· "He wants to date Jessica, not her dad," says the friend, adding, "Tony took her to the wedding to be a nice guy. But at this point, he just wants to back out gracefully."
Brits comeback
· Britney Spears is back in the recording studio and doing well, according to a source who spoke to People magazine.
· “Britney is in the experimental stages of a new album. … She's trying to find the sound and direction she wants to go in, but nothing is set in stone just yet. She has been playing the piano a lot and just singing. She says she misses ‘just singing,’” said the source
· “No one wants her to just go back to touring and the pressures that come along with performing like she used to, but that doesn’t mean that she isn’t going to move in that direction," the source said.
· If Spears continues to make moves to re-enter the music scene, making sure that she works at a healthy pace is a priority, the source said. “She and Jamie (Spears) and her doctors have worked really hard, and there’s finally some normalcy back in her life. No one wants her to take a step backwards,” said the source. “It’s good for her to work on her music, but everyone will be careful that she paces herself.” |
